DEVELOPER

Conversion to residential condominium lofts was started in March 2004 by Pierre Sirois, who acquired the building in 1998. He has been active in the acquisition and redevelopment of properties in Old Montreal since the early 90's.

ARCHITECT

Architects, "Régis Côté & Associés Inc." were retained for the preparation of plans and specifications. They have offices in Montreal, Quebec City and Thetford Mines. They have completed several major projects, of which the "Price Building" in Quebec City earned them the BOMA Quebec 2002-2003 prize and BOMA Canada 2002 prize. This project included the conversion of an apartment for Bernard Landry, the prime minister of Quebec at that time.

DESIGNER

Interior designer is Hélène Beaudoin, who has realised several commercial and residential projects.

Emphasis was placed on the enhancement of large panoramic windows and ceiling heights of 9'2". She also succeeded in eliciting the "cachet" of the building with a favourable harmonisation of natural brick, gypsum and hardwood floors.
